A month ago we had two doctor's appointments, and we were lucky enough to get to see Bean at both of them. The first appointment was at Kaiser - Bean looked like an alien, but it was great to see him/her look more baby-like.

Our second appointment was in San Francisco for a NT scan - It's part of the 1st trimester screening that tests for Down Syndrome & chromosomal defects. This appointment was hard only because I had to have a really full bladder and they were pressing down on my stomach for 20 minutes. They had a monitor up on the wall so Matt and I could see the action. We got a couple of pictures, but the quality isn't that great.

I'm starting to show - At least to Matt and I. To other people I think I still just look chubby. I can't wait to have an obvious baby belly =)
I'm 15 weeks today, which according to Babycenter.com means Bean is the size of an apple:

Woohoo an update! I've been waiting, patiently, for you to provide us more details. I am proudly awaiting the arrival of our first grandbaby 'bean' whatever the gender!
